We believe our emotions are essentially energy that connects our body and unconscious mind. Imagine a world without smell - how unfortunate would that be. Growing up, I’ve always been in tune with scents. I am fasinated by how a certain smell can transport me to familiar places or evoke memories from the past. The emotions that a fragrance can awaken within me are truly fascinating.

When I became a mom, scented candles became my getaway in the midst of my hectic life. They nourished my soul, uplifted my emotions, and reminded me of the vastness of life. During my period of dark night of the soul, flickering candles brought me light and hope.

I sincerely hope that Kensla can serve as an inspiration and illuminate your personal journey of self-discovery, helping you connect with every facet that makes you unique, and knowing that you are not alone in this journey.

What goes in our candles

Fragrances

The essens of our products. Our bespoke fragrances are produced in France. Each fragrance is thoughtfully selected to nurture not only our bodies and souls but also the environment. We use a mixture of botanical and aroma molecules, that don't contain CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic, or toxic for reproduction) substances. It's worth noting that our fragrances are free from phthalates too, a common solvent in scented candles. Additionally, there are no parabens included, which is a rarity in the world of fragrances.

Wax

Our candles utilize a unique blend of three different vegetable waxes to ensure optimal diffusion and a slow, even burn. Importantly, these waxes are entirely free from petroleum-derived ingredients, making them both environmentally friendly and gentle on our bodies.

Wicks

The wicks we are using are made from cotton and lead-free metal. Our skilled artisan candle makers refrain from using glue, ensuring that all the good things only interact the ways they are intentionally designed to do. When the candles burn out, you can easily remove the wick and use the jar for something else

Our contribute to a sustainable present and future

Glass jar

Our glass jars are manufactured in Europe and are not only recyclable but also versatile enough to be repurposed as mini vases, brush holders, and more.

Packaging

Kensla Studio uses packaging crafted from FSC-certified paper, signifying our commitment to responsible forestry practices. Additionally, our labels are made by recycled paper, further minimizing our environmental footprint
