CANDLE CARE
To get the most out of your candle, trim the wick to approximately 6 mm inch before each use. This helps prevent excessive smoke and ensures an even, clean burn. Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and flammable materials. Always burn candles within sight and out of the reach of children and pets.
A mushrooming wick can occur when the wick is too long or the candle has been burned for an extended period. Trim the wick to 6 mm and ensure you follow recommended burn times. If the mushrooming continues, extinguish the candle, let it cool, and trim the wick before relighting.
Sometimes, our noses can become accustomed to scents. Try moving to a different room and returning after a while. Also, make sure you're burning the candle in an appropriately sized room.
A small amount of leftover wax is normal in most candles. Stop using the candle when about 1.3 cm of wax remains. Burning beyond this point can cause overheating of the jar and potentially break it.
A small flame can be due to wick trimmings accumulating in the wax pool. Extinguish the candle, let it cool, and carefully remove any debris.
